I went to Swanland school near Hull. The children are going to start to write a story about the Great Barrier Reef and then I will finish it off in a different school when I go to Australia. Everyone had lots of great ideas.

I went back to Swanland school again. We decided to do a story about an underwater city. When I was a little girl I used to go to this school and I wrote my first book there. It was called ‘Bubble City’ and I still have it. We thought it would be good if we used the same title for our story.

Today I arrived in Brisbane in Australia. I had been looking forward to some sunshine but it was raining! I picked up my campervan which will be my home for the next two weeks.
