I went to Rhos Street school in Ruthin in Wales. The children had been learning about animals in the Arctic and they asked if I would tell them about some of the rainforest animals. They acted out ‘The Very Last Tree’ for their families and friends. They were all very nice to me and I hope I can go back again soon.

I made a film of ‘Ali and the Big Wave’ with some children from Francis Askew School in Hull. They wanted to make something to send to their friends in a school in a different country. It was hard work to make a film in only a few hours but we finished it just in time.

The Tilbury and Bethune Youth Theatre acted out ‘The Very Last Tree’ for their families and friends. Jack made a very good chainsaw out of an old plastic bottle.
