I was back at St Charles school again today and we talked about what could happen in the story. Some of the ideas were very funny and the children in the story are going to meet some penguins, a gorilla, some tigers and some kangaroos. Everyone drew pictures of what might happen.

We spent some time taking photos of the school and writing about it for the website. We had to be very quiet outside Mrs Hoyle’s office. In the story she is going to be a bit scary and fight with a gorilla but she is very nice in real life!

We have been thinking about different things that we can do to help the environment. St Charles school have lots of good ideas. They already compost all of their fruit and have signs to remind people to switch off the lights. They are trying hard not to use too much plastic or foil in their pack-ups now and so lots of people have got a special wrapper for their sandwiches that can be washed and used again.
